Once a design has been agreed and before any project can go ahead it is important to set the ground rules. All Done Design believe that time and effort spent here set the standard for the building phase to follow.

This applies whether you are planning a:

  • Residential extension
  • Corporate build
  • Public sector construction

There are seven individual steps required at this stage, divided into three distinctive areas of operation:

Production Information:

  • Preparation of production information in sufficient detail to enable a tender or tenders to be obtained
  • Detailed build cost provided by our in-house Contracts Managers
  • Application for statutory approvals, e.g. Building Regulations application to Building Control

Tender Documentation:

  • Preparation of further information for construction required under the building contract

Tender Action:

  • Identification and evaluation of potential sub-contractors and/or specialists for the project
  • Obtaining and appraising tenders
  • Submission of recommendations to the client

Once all these processes have been completed satisfactorily it is time to move on to the actual build, seen by many clients as the most exciting phase.
